When I was visiting Atlanta last month, I went to Tuesday Morning with Matt and I got this amazing children’s book I had never seen before - A Long Piece of String. It pretty much jumped off the shelf, it’s cover so simple and bold compared to the others. Right up my alley. Like expected, the pictures inside were perfect. Big and shape-y and all in red or black.
FYI (on titles)
One day I was playing Words with Friends (heard of it???) with the boy-dude. I was losing pretty badly and then played a really fancy word - I don’t remember what it was - and made a comeback and won. That’s when he said I was a sneaky creature. But in a really stupid funny way. And for some reason I couldn’t shake it from my head, so I decided to draw it and it ended up on this book.
I added a couple more preview pages to check out.

Spent the morning with a cup of iced coffee and some glorious Sol Lewitt sculptures in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The fact that lewitt’s stuff is just hangin out in a park for anyone to walk up to and view, seriously amazes me. public art = the best.
Astoria pool at closing time. This pool is seriously enormous. It’s nestled between two big bridges i forget the names of, and the whole setup had a dreamy 50’s feel. Its also quite a sight to see this pool totally saturated with all different kinds of people. The entire time, I felt like I was in a painting.
Tumblr friendssss! Check out this zine I made! It’s called Sneaky Creature. It has a bunch of new drawings/pictures I’ve made in past couple months. I spent a lot of time on it and I want to share it! Click through to see more. It’s only $5!
Got nostalgic last evening near the Brooklyn bridge. Close to where I had my first real job/internship and just a couple stops away from where I was living. Can’t believe I’ve been in ny for over a year now.
Love this place. Midtown east
